Architect
Our architects at 31Storeys are licensed professionals trained in the art and science of the design and construction of buildings and structures that primarily provide shelter. They also have a wealth of experience planning successful applications for clients.

Our architect will create the overall attractive look of the building and structure. However the design of a building involves far more than its appearance. Our architects will project manage to ensure the buildings are also functional, safe, and economical and ensure they meet the specific needs of our clients who use them.
Most importantly, they must be built with our clients and public’s health, safety and welfare in mind.

Building Control
We work alongside Building Control Services to ensure that buildings are designed and constructed in accordance with the Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Building controller work on the planning and construction phases of building projects to make sure they meet structural, accessibility, conservation, energy, fire safety, and public health regulations.
Their day-to-day duties include working closely with architects, designers, builders and engineers.

Structural Engineers
We work with structural engineers, design structures to withstand stresses and pressures imposed through environmental conditions and human use.
They ensure buildings and other structures do not deflect, rotate, vibrate excessively or collapse and that they remain stable and secure throughout their use. They will also examine existing buildings and structures to test if they are structurally sound and still fit for purpose.

Working in close partnership with architects and other professional engineers they will help to design most structures, including residential, commercial properties and office blocks.
Structural engineers will choose the appropriate materials, such as concrete, steel, timber and masonry, to meet design specifications and they are also often involved in inspecting the work and advising contractors.
